Chiara's Choice

Could Recommend but Probably Won't

For some reason I just didn't love this one!
It took me forever to get through.  I had to force myself to finish it.
I really don't know exactly what it was but the characters and the plot didn't tickle my fancy :(
There was just a little bit too much description when it came to the kissing scenes {Too Much Passion} but other than that it was clean.
So, based on cleanliness I could probably recommend this book but I won't be since it bugged just a little.

At times I thought the story a little too run of the mill but it was also sweet and I liked the characters.
The book did not stand out to me in any way really but at the same time it did not contain anything objectionable.  Therefore, I easily recommend it to friends.

Adoring Abigail

The thing that I liked right off the bat with this book was that the heroine had a very noticeable "flaw"...or something the world would label as a flaw.  She wasn't perfect in the eyes of most.
That always makes a book more likable for me.
There were just a few {Uncomfortable Moments} and a couple of times I thought the passion was a little borderline {Too Much Passion}.
Other than that I thought the storyline was original enough, and, like I already mentioned, I liked the characters so, overall, I most likely would recommend this book.

With the exception of a handful of mildly {Uncomfortable Moments} this book was rather clean.
It was a cute story...mostly fluff and a couple of frustrating 'why didn't you communicate better' moments...but one that I would not have a problem recommending to friends.

This was a sweet collection of holiday stories.  There were just a couple of times that I was the slightest bit uncomfortable with a kissing scene but overall, it was very clean and enjoyable.

I really liked Chalon's first book so I maybe had a little too high of expectations for this one.  It was okay but I didn't love it.  It was quite clean although, toward the end there were many descriptions of kisses {TMP}
The {UM} were mild and few.
I did like that the main man was not perfect and was working at overcoming his weaknesses.

So for some reason I could not find a review for this one...I must have spaced writing about it after I finished it.  It's a good thing I remember how I felt about it though.

I loved this one!  I had never read anything else by Krista Lynne Jensen or Anita Stansfield but I enjoyed all four stories.
I don't remember anything I didn't like in any of them.
This one is definitely a two thumbs up and I might reread it each Christmas season :)
