Heart in the Highlands

Probably Not Recommendable

First of all, that cover!  I love it!!!
Secondly, I thought the story was unique and interesting, however, there were multiple things that bothered me in the book.
There were a few {Uncomfortable Moments} and a {Backstory} that is hardly mentioned but you know it's there.  The thing that troubled me the most though was the focus on their physical relationship {Too Much Passion}.  Their wedding night is written about, and then aside from that issue, (which, by the way, is always an issue for me :) the description of any other kissing or desire was too much in my opinion.
Again, I thought the plot and characters were interesting and well written but I would have a hard time recommending this book based on some of the content.

Where the Stars Meet the Sea

I really thought this was a cute book!
For me it was kind of a cross between Beauty and the Beast and Pride and Prejudice.  Not a fairy tale (although it does take place in a castle), just that the relationship between the two main characters reminded me of these other two stories.
My only complaint was that it got just a little {Too Much Passion}-ate at the end...just a bit too descriptive with the kissing scenes...but not terribly.
Other than that I can easily recommend this sweet, fast paced regency!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book...I read it in one day.
Look how beautiful the cover is...
It was a lovely story up until the very last two pages...
I felt like the one kissing scene was just a tad too much (Too Much Passion) (and she used the phrase that it seems every author uses...'he deepened the kiss'...that drives me crazy) and I felt like the things they said to each other at the end were kind of more cheesy than usual.
There were just one or two mildly {Uncomfortable Moments}...nothing totally embarrassing.
So if you're up for a sweet, little romance with a cheesy ending, this would be a good pick!
I will be interested in anything else she writes though...it really was a cute and clean book :)

This was a sweet collection of holiday stories.  There were just a couple of times that I was the slightest bit uncomfortable with a kissing scene but overall, it was very clean and enjoyable.
