Meriden Park

I have to admit this one didn't really grab me :(
I was hopeful since the main character is Indian and therefore, it didn't necessarily have the usual regency plot.
It was still a fine book but just didn't jump out at me as being amazing.
A little slow but sweet.
I could easily recommend it as there was not anything that was offensive but it won't be the first one that comes to mind when suggesting a recent great read.

This was such an interesting book to read...so different and yet, I liked it.
It was short and sweet but had plenty of adventure.
The young woman seemed extremely naive and at first it bothered me.  I couldn't see where the story would go because of it but I am happy with how it concluded.
The only thing I had against it was a possible {Uncomfortable Moment} or two but barely.
I could easily recommend this book as something cute but different from the usual regency romance.

From Ash and Stone

I gave this only three stars because the medieval genre is not my favorite so the setting/time period did not appeal to me as much but the story and characters were likable enough.
There were just a few {Uncomfortable Moments} but not enough to make it unrecommendable.
I really like Julie Daines as an author so I personally hope she doesn't stick with this genre...but I'll read her no matter what (as long as she stays clean :)

This was another pleasant surprise for me!
Yes, it is a fairy tale, but I found it had more depth than I expected.
For some reason (probably because of the shoes on the front) I was expecting this to be a retelling of Cinderella but it was it's own story and more closely paralleled The Little Mermaid.
There were a few mild {UM} and the main girl thought about kisses quite a bit {TMP} but those were my only two complaints.

Haven Cross

Julie Daines has given us another lovely Regency!
{UM}  There were just a couple of very mildly uncomfortable moments but really, very clean!
I felt like this plot was a bit more unpredictable than most.  Not as far as the love interest and villian, but in the storyline itself.
I don't think I liked it quite as well as her first regency, Willowkeep, but it was still very enjoyable.
Haven Cross is definitely more action packed.

I ran into Julie Daines (and Jennifer Moore) at Swiss Days in Midway, Utah this summer!
It was fun to meet them...very gracious and kind.

I hope Julie keeps writing beautifully clean regencies :)
