This was magnificent!!!
There were so many things I loved about this book.
For one, Joanna Politano is a beautifully talented author. The picture of her at the end of her books makes her look like she's in her late 20's/early 30's but her writing is so mature.
I also really like how she brings God into the story...He is actually quite a main part of the story.
There is so much mystery and multiple plot twists.
The only thing I can complain about is the culture of the theater. It is expected that the ballerinas be "sponsored" by mature, male patrons. Part of the greatness of the main character though is that she is adamant that she not give up her moral character.
I WILL be recommending this book to friends!
I totally agree. When I finished reading this I felt like I had experienced something very special. She has always impressed me with her writing, but this felt like a masterpiece!
