Heartily Recommend
I am so excited to share this book!
I had high expectations because I liked her last one so much and this one did not disappoint!
Politano brings together victorian asylums and early music therapy in this novel.
It was fascinating, intriguing, haunting and beautiful!
I cannot think of anything I objected to in this book.
Of course, the subject matter could be a bit depressing at times but that is the only thing I would warn people against...a little dark and sad.
However, if you feel you can handle that, then this is a must read and I recommend it with no other reservations!
I am so glad to know this got a hearty recommendation. I was afraid after the masterpiece that was her last book, nothing following it would measure up. As soon as I feel like I can handle the sad, depressing parts, I will give it a read.
