An Oxford Murder

I read GG Vandagriff years ago when I started reading as a hobby again after my kids were all born.
I really  enjoyed most of her stuff but was disappointed in her regency romances.
It wasn't until recently when I was telling my mom about her that we found out that she had written a Golden Age mystery series since those earlier days of mine.
My mom tried the first one out and I followed.
We both found it to be quite clean!
I was thrilled since finding historical murder mysteries that are not offensive has been quite difficult for me.  There was a {Backstory} of an affair involving two unmarried people and a couple of instances of a stronger version of "Thank Goodness" (I don't know whether to count that as {Language} or not...probably not...so, like I said, pretty clean!
We are both interested in reading more of this series and crossing our fingers that they stay equally unoffensive :)
I feel comfortable recommending this book!

  1. I still haven't started book two, so if you get to it before I do, I hope you let me know what you think before I launch into it. :)
