A Midnight Dance

This was magnificent!!!
There were so many things I loved about this book.
For one, Joanna Politano is a beautifully talented author.  The picture of her at the end of her books makes her look like she's in her late 20's/early 30's but her writing is so mature.
I also really like how she brings God into the story...He is actually quite a main part of the story.
There is so much mystery and multiple plot twists.
The only thing I can complain about is the culture of the theater.  It is expected that the ballerinas be "sponsored" by mature, male patrons.  Part of the greatness of the main character though is that she is adamant that she not give up her moral character.
I WILL be recommending this book to friends!

Not Sure if I Could Recommend

I liked this story...it had more depth to it than a lot of other "clean" romances.
It was really fun learning about the early days of Yellowstone Park as well.
I did not appreciate all the {Uncomfortable Moments} though...and there were a lot of them.  There were all different sorts too...sometimes a book will have multiple {UM} of a certain type but this one was all over the place.  I don't know that I would feel good about recommending this one although it was an interesting once through read for me.

Could Recommend

I made the mistake of beginning a new book before recording this one so my memory of it is a little fuzzy.  However, what I do remember is that I liked it for the most part.  I think there was an {Uncomfortable Moment} or two and, for me, the kissing was a little bit on the {Too Much Passion} side.
It was a pleasant story though like the rest of the series and I feel that I could recommend it easily.

Could Probably Recommend

This was a delightful book!  Possibly my favorite of the three in the series...although, I would say the second one had the least "offensive" moments.
I liked the adventure and mystery surrounding this particular character!
There were definite {Uncomfortable Moments}...a couple of strong ones... and a possible {Backstory} that plays a bit of a role in the plot.  Overall though, it is quite clean and I feel that I could recommend it without much of a problem.

Continuing on with Martha Keyes' Highland series...
This one was pleasant and about what I was expecting based on the other books.
I did have one complaint...where the other ones didn't suffer from {Too Much Passion} I feel this one did.  It was just a little over the edge for me.
Still a good book and one I would probably feel comfortable recommending :)

Easily Recommend

This book was delightful!
I didn't have any major issues with it and feel that I could recommend it without a problem.
I enjoyed the mystery element even though I didn't feel like it was a super strong part of the book.
This is a fun series with multiple secondary characters being carried through into the next book.
I'm excited to read number three soon!

A nice second installment in the Tales from the Highlands series by Martha Keyes.
This one did not continue the trend of one swear word per book as that the other two have established.  I am happy to report there was no swearing at all :)
The only thing that bothered me even a little was that I felt at least once that it was bordering on {Too Much Passion}.  I think for most people it would be just fine though :)
My brother and his wife recently found out that I kept this blog.  So they looked it up and started reading.   They got a kick out of some of the explanations of my ratings.  I told them that I just want to know the characters kiss, that it was nice and then move on...and anything beyond that really is TMP :)
