Twisted Fate

I liked this compilation for the most part.
Abramson's story was fine...
Luke's story painted a gory picture {Violence} and the conclusion was too unbelievable for me to really enjoy it.
Black's story was mild enough and good as always...although, I realized reading this one that a lot of her plots are similar in that someone frames the main character...kind of the same formula, but, I don't know, maybe that's normal for a mystery.
Anyway, I feel like I could generally recommend this book.

A Proper Scandal

Not Recommendable

I liked the characters and parts of the storyline but there was {Too Much Passion} and too many {Uncomfortable Moments} due to unwanted attention from multiple men.
Too much of the story was based around compromising situations and the appeal of the leading lady to men in general.
I definitely would not be comfortable recommending this book.

I didn't write this right after I finished the book so I am going off of my poor memory but, from what I recall, there was nothing offensive in this book.
For some reason, I have a tendency to like heroes who stutter :)  I think it's endearing.
(I suppose it's only fitting that I married the amazing man that I did...in his younger years, before I knew him, he had a bit of a stutter.)
I liked this book but it isn't one of my top faves...just a pleasant read that I could recommend if asked about.

Probably Not Recommend

I don't know how to describe how I felt about this one.
I did feel like there was definitely {Too Much Passion} for my taste.
I thought the plot was okay I guess.  I don't know, something was just off for me.  I wish I could put my finger on it.
I most likely won't recommend this one.

Fool Me Twice/ Played For a Fool

I have really appreciated Stephanie Black's novels.
They are so refreshingly clean...especially for murder mysteries!
The only thing I had against either of these two (they do definitely go together and don't read them out of order :) is very minor {Uncomfortable Moments} but really, super minor.
They do mention some blood and injuries but I didn't feel like it was enough to mention in the rating...very tame.
If you're looking for a good, clean suspense/mystery check out any of Stephanie Black's books!
