Possibly Would Recommend

I don't know how I forgot to blog about this one before I continued on down my reading stack but just realized I had never written about it so I hope I can remember my thoughts.
I saw this author suggested by a bookstagramer I follow and thought I would give her a try.
She writes very Christian which always gives me the hope that it will be a clean read.
I think there was one instance where God's name was taken in vain and the main character's backstory {BSt} of being a teenager with loose morals plays a big role in the plot.  It is referenced often, sometimes by crude men.
These were the only things that bothered me though and I might be interested in trying more of the series.
It is a suspense novel and was pretty intense at times.
All things taken into consideration, I think I could recommend it to certain people :)

This is a self published book and so I didn't have very high expectations for it.
There are some minor flaws throughout the book and it is written in first person, present tense which isn't usually my favorite.
However, I will say, this book kept me reading...and guessing.  There were so many twists it was almost hard to keep up with it all.  At times I was mad with how everything was unfolding but I was happily satisfied in the end :)
It was super clean with the minor exception of at one point you are briefly led to believe an immoral relationship is taking place.
I would actually be interested to read more of Janessa Burt's books in the future and in the meantime can recommend this one for those that love a good, clean mystery :)

This was a sweet book, although, of the Blue Orchid Society series so far, it was not my favorite.  Although it was a good story it just didn't move along quickly for me.
I don't recall anything objectionable in it and can therefore recommend it without reservation.

At times I thought the story a little too run of the mill but it was also sweet and I liked the characters.
The book did not stand out to me in any way really but at the same time it did not contain anything objectionable.  Therefore, I easily recommend it to friends.

This one had more {Language} than the other Poirot mysteries I've read :(...not stronger, just more frequent.
There were also a couple of {Uncomfortable Moments} surrounding a certain character.
As always though, a genius plot and I couldn't guess who dunnit.
Sadly though, I can't recommend this one because of the language.

The Book of Lost Names

Not Recommend

I really don't enjoy doing reviews like this :(
This story was so intriguing and beautiful!  I love WWII books and this was one of the best I've read as far as plot goes.  However, there was some {Language}...mostly taking God's name in vain every now and then and then at the very end a traitor is twice called a bad name...I was so disappointed.
Also there was a kissing scene that I felt pushed the limit a bit and then toward the end, without going into detail (thankfully), the main characters had a full on intimate moment {TMP!}  I was so frustrated!
I wish there was a way to smoothly edit books without just scribbling things out.
Also, a few strong {Uncomfortable Moments} :(
This was such a disappointment!
I gave it as many stars as I did because of the plot...if it would have been clean I would have given it 4.5/5 stars.
Sadly, I cannot recommend this book, nor will I be reading any more of Kristin Harmel's books.

Probably Not Recommend

I think I am going to enjoy all of Agatha Christie's mysteries to a degree because I love mysteries.  However, this one did have some things that bothered me.
There seemed to be about the same amount of {Language} as in the last one (which was just enough to not make me put it down) until the last couple of chapters and then it picked up :(  If that amount of swearing had been at the beginning or middle of the book I probably wouldn't have finished it.
Also, this one did revolve around infidelity {Subject Matter} which always bothers me.  It didn't go into any detail but you know there is a relationship going on.
All things considered, although I did enjoy the mystery, I will most likely not be recommending this one.

I loved this book!
It might have just been the mood I was in but reading about a perilous trek across Siberia was super exciting!
Elizabeth Camden is one of my faves and this one did not disappoint!!!
I think I remember enjoying the first one in this series but this one was exceptional!
Camden is extremely good with her research and historical plots.  She is a master of putting her characters in impossible situations and having everything work out in the end.
These characters are so likable and unique.
There was nothing that I had issue with except a couple of hints at past unfaithfulness among minor characters...not really even enough to mention.
I have already recommended this to a good friend and my daughter (she's halfway through :).

Could Probably Recommend

I read this book a long time ago and just reread it and realized I hadn't blogged about it yet.
It is a great story!  Characters are very likable and relatable.
There are multiple {Uncomfortable Moments} and if I remember correctly (I made the mistake of reading another book before I wrote this) a little bit {Too Much Passion} but that is not an absolute.
Really a sweet story that I would love to recommend but probably with a caution about the {UM}.
