This is the second installment in the series "On Devonshire Shores"
I was reminded in the middle of this one, how I had not had great expectations for the first one but ended up pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed it.  I had the same experience with this one.
I think Julie Klassen is an excellent writer who can make a very normal family's home life into something I am eager to read about.
Anyway, that being said, I did feel there was just the slightest bit of {Too Much Passion}  That was my only (very minor) complaint though and could easily recommend this book to anyone!
I just wish the next one was being published sooner so I could remember all the characters and storylines going into it.  When there are months in between books I spend the first half struggling to remember everything about the last :(

The thing that most stands out about this book for me is the completely unpredictable plot!
This is nothing like I've ever read before :)
Fun, full of mystery and things you don't expect...this is a story with it all.
I don't recall anything objectionable so I am going to proclaim it clean too :)
I will be recommending this one and anxiously look forward to reading the rest of the series!

I did like that this book had a more intriguing and deep plot than a lot of books set in this period.

It was not all flowers and sunshine.  However, I did feel like the couple of kissing scenes contained a tad {Too Much Passion} for me.  Probably most people would find nothing wrong with them but I would have liked them toned down just a bit.

I could recommend this book.  It wasn't exceptional but it was better than many.

I was so excited to read another Elizabeth Camden!
It didn't disappoint!
She is always so good with her intriguing historical backgrounds for her plots.
I sped right through the story and had only one complaint of a couple of {Uncomfortable Moments}.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and am excited to see it looks like it will be a series :)

Initially, I had just done a post on the first book in this series but decided to finish the entire group and write about all of them at once since I was pretty sure I would have similar feelings about each one.
This is a great series of stories!  I was actually amazed at how each one was so different even though they all center around missions of the same group of Navy SEALS.
I appreciated the adventure and intrigue even though there wasn't really mystery which is usually what I go for.
Also, the premise of the series is a military unit that is made up entirely of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, hence, the name of the series, Saint Squad.  Of course there are obvious references to the church and religion but I liked how Traci wasn't "preachy"...just more factual.
There was nothing I objected to and can easily recommend it to others.
I can easily recommend this series!
Apparently there are still more coming out, so more adventures to come :)

I flew through this book!
Loved the plot and the characters...I don't know what made it so intriguing but I just kept coming back to it.  I guess murder mysteries do that to me.
I will heartily recommend this one!

I was invited to join a book group devoted entirely to C.S. Lewis.
I really haven't read much of his works before so this will be a new experience.
I started with The Great Divorce.
I read it in a couple of hours and was surprised by how interesting it was.
I was disappointed that there was {Language} in it :(
However, there were some fascinating thoughts about Heaven and Hell...very thought provoking.
I could recommend this book in spite of the few profanities and cursings.
