Could Easily Recommend

I was really liking this book and then, slowly, it started to feel like I was reading a fairy tale adaptation or something.
Everything just seemed a little too...I don't know...a little too sugary?
Anyway, it is a (very ;) sweet story but just a tad too much at times.
It was clean so I did appreciate that.
I could recommend this based on its cleanliness but I don't know that I will based on the overall feel of it.

    I can agree with everything you said. I was surprised that I didn't love it, because I expected to. Just a bit too formulaic, and "sugary", as you said.
